Alberto TARI has a background in business education and accounting management. As a young child, Alberto lived and studied in Italy. He would later meet and marry Bruna who shared the same affiliation to Italy and a passion for delectable foods. Bruna, studied Italian culture and literature, but her fascination in searching for fine Italian pastries is what keeps these two engrossed.  Alberto’s experience working in a manufacturing food plant would prepare him to manage and become the owner and Vice President for sales and marketing for his own importing, manufacturing and distribution company. Alberto Tari, first founded his dessert company over 30 years ago. Elite Sweets journey originated on a trip he and his wife took to the heart of Naples. Alberto Tari would be one of the first importers of la sfogliatella, which is one of the most famous Italian pastries.  In 1990, Alberto invited a colleague into a partnership. Since then, they had expanded the business with the help of their spouses. Their Tiramisu (his wife, Bruna’s idea and recipe originated in their kitchen) has received national recognition. The company he owned 50% of had been featured in numerous publications, such as including multiple appearances on the Food Network, for its desserts.

J’adore Sweets After 30 years of experience in product development, and in driving the sales up to exponential levels, Alberto with incessant visions exceeding those of his partners, decided to venture out again. After selling his half of the company to his partner and family, he would focus on a new company, using his knowledge, customer understanding and relationships to launch a collection of limited-edition and unique products that only use the finest ingredients. Again, Alberto would venture to Italy, with his wife and eldest son JP, where countless hours were spent traveling to renowned dessert manufactures in Italy and visiting customers. J’adore sweets really do speak to you, each with a story and taste of distinctive regions in Italy. Because of the Tari Family’s dedication to both quality and excellence, these desserts are sure to impress. J’adore tries to offer Healthy Sweets: Isn’t this an oxymoron? Alberto Tari, a foody and connoisseur recognizes pasticceria and desserts as their own right-and Alberto knows a little something about the fundamentals of both. With his world-famous Italian artisan desserts such as ‘almond cookies’ and ‘la torta con ricotta’, Alberto looks for and offers many more healthful ingredients like oats, darker chocolate, almond flour, cocoa, fresh fruit, which can actually fit into a healthy diet plan!
